paper route at 13, labouring jobs through a couple of summer holidays then at 16 worked part time as a telephone sales man for a kitchen firm. I quickly learned that I was good at blagging people and that you really can fool some of the people all of the time. I then went on to sell double glazing, kirby vacuum cleaners, more kitchens and office stationary. My first job after leaving school at 18 was to work as a trainee at Tesco. I ended up being very badly stitched up and was working for about £3 per hour so I left to join the army. That taught me to always read the contract before signing it.

I've finally made a decision
by J.R.R.Watchtower inhi friends!.
i've finally made a decision: i wil leave the wt in december 2004 or january 2005. please let me explain how i would manage this and i will also like to know your point of view or any other thing you would want to say.. i live in spain (as some of you know) in a city where there are 20 congregations.
i think that the elders would like to know the reason why i'm moving to another congregation.

In Spain the family is a very big deal and if you stay in the same congregation as your parent and grand parents then you will continue to have problems. Start by going to a new congregation, soon after only go to one meeting a week - blame work, and then go to one meeting every two weeks, then one a month and then none. Worked for alot of people and is less drastic than making a big point and drawing attention to yourself.

you don't stand a hope in the replay, we may have had a few dodgy seasons but it's a rebuilding time now.

pants, I didn't realise you need to fill in the description field when you upload them. The first two are Perranporth and the sunset pic is Portreath. Both near Redruth on the north coast.

Porsche, Ferrari,(what next, ford or pontiac?) Jemima
We are working out kids name for our first, currently under planning stages. So far the favourites are:
Abigail Storm (Surname begins with H so she can be nicknamed Ash)
Daisy Jane (although this one could be bastardised to Daisy Chain)
Hannah Louise - Clare hates this one
Not decided on any boys names yet. Any suggestions? we quite like Kieron as it's quite celtic.

Public debate on how the forum is run
by Simon injust a reminder / clarification.. i'm not interested in public debate or questioning about hwo the forum is run, especially individual decisions we make.. if you have any questions about anything or want to challenge any decision then do it via email or pm.
any posts like this made on the main board will be deleted and, if continued, will result in suspension of the account used (as happened with minimus who's account has now been reactivated).
i'm sure you will appreciate the reason for this.

This is a forum, not a democracy.
Unless you pay towards the hosting costs and towards the time of the moderators then what gives you the right to have a say in who is deleted and why? and why expect public announcement of everyone who is deleted, or asks to be deleted. I've seen this on sevaral boards where antagonistically vocal critics ask to be deleted in a big huff and then complain when they are. Get over it! We are here to chat and discuss stuff rather than have chippy little disagreements over internal politics. If you don't like the way it's run, you know where the door is.
